Catrin Rowlands – Producer

Catrin is an experienced and passionate Producer/Director with over 20 years’ experience of working in the broadcasting industry, producing documentaries for broadcasters such as BBC THREE, S4C and BBC Wales.

Over the past few years, Catrin has produced the ‘Young, Welsh and…’ brand for BBC Three and BBC Wales which was downloaded over a million times on iPlayer.  Catrin is known for negotiating access and securing contributors, even when the topic of discussion is sensitive such as contributors for Gareth Thomas-HIV and me for BBC Wales and BBC One.

Catrin is currently responsible for producing all of Captain Jac’s slate which include: Trais; Calan Gaeaf Carys Eleri; Carys Eleri’n Caru- a documentary about love for S4C and was nominated for BAFTA Cymru, a children’s documentary series Siwrne Ni (S4C), children’s comedy series Y Doniolis (S4C), two short-form series Y Siwrnai I for Hansh, (S4C’s youth channel) and the travelogue series Teulu mewn Bacpac (S4C).

Trystan Rowlands – Editor

Trystan is a highly creative and experienced editor and has worked in the television and film industry for over thirty years. During this time, Trystan has edited a wide cross section of documentaries, factual and sports programmes for channels such as the BBC, S4C, Channel 4.

As a freelance editor, he has recently worked on productions such as: Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country, Channel 4; Bargain Hunt, BBC One, Crimewatch Roadshow, BBC One; Am Dro, S4C, Carys Eleri’n Caru, S4C, Seiclo-Tour de France, S4C, Giro d’itallia, S4C, Bwyd Bach, S4C.

As well as being responsible for all the post -production needs of Captain Jac’s productions, Trystan is experienced in file delivery.
